Description of the variety
Tall Utah celery is a classic celery valued for its crisp texture, reliable performance and strong, upright plant habit. It produces long, smooth, medium green stalks. Maturity is about 120 - 130 days. Tall Utah celery shows good tolerance to heat and bolting, performs well in a range of climates, and thrives in rich, consistently moist soil. The plants form well-blanched, straight stems with minimal stringness when grown under good conditions.
Planting Guidelines
Prepare the seedlings and transplanting
Prepare the bed by turning the soil under to a depth of 8 inches. Level with a rake to remove clumps of grass and stones. Work in organic matter prior to planting.
