Chinese Yellow Celery
Description of the variety
Chinese Yellow Celery features thinner, hollow stems and a more intense herbal aroma. The leaves are delicate and feathery, and the plant typically grows to about 30 – 60 cm tall. Its flavor is more pronounced. The stems and leaves are yellowish green in colour.
Planting Guidelines
Use well-draining, nutrient-rich soil with good moisture retention. Mix in compost or aged manure.
Pre-moisten the soil before sowing to prevent seeds from sinking too deep, which can hinder germination.
Celery seeds require light to germinate.
