Grey Green Winter Melon
Description of the variety
Grey green winter melon is short cylindrical shaped. The melon is about 40 cm long and 30 cm wide. The outer skin is green covered with white wax. The flesh is thick and white in colour. The average fruit weight is about 15 - 20 KG. This culitvar has wide adaptation and is tolerant to heat.
Planting Guidelines
Maturity for Spring season planting is about 4 months. Maturity for Autumn season planting is about 5 months.
Pregerminate before sowing or preparing seedlings for transplanting
