ASP 383 Sugar Pea
Description of the variety
Early maturity. It flowers 45 days after sowing. Harvest when the pod grows to the full size with fresh green color. Relatively cold tolerant.
The plant is about 2 metres tall, with white flowers, single or double pods per node, round pods of 8 - 10 cm long and 1 cm thick, average pod weight of 8 grams. The pods are fresh green in colour. The pods are edible and crispy. Good Eating Quality. It is a climbing type.
Planting Guidelines
The suitable temperature for growth is 12℃—20℃。
Prepare the seedbed about 1.2 - 1.5 m wide. Plant one row per seedbed. Recommended plant distanace 25 cm.
