Contender pea

Description of the variety

Contender is a snow pea variety with extra large pods. The pods are sweet, tender and crispy. The plants have white flowers with good pod setting. It has relatively late maturity with long harvest windows, allowing the growers to harvest the pods for an extended period of time.
